Thank you. I speak in this case just as an outsider, but it seems fairly clear- one of those "I hope I'm wrong" situations. I think some of those were simply done so each astronaut could see Earth from the frozen wastes of space. I would, so I believe anyone would. Billionaires in charge of the space program is a BAD IDEA from the gate for lots of reasons, but here's the number one reason I can think of: these men are interested in growing their personal wealth, not in growing a space-exploration program that would have been able to improve lives the world over. Due to the nature of the growth in scientific fields of endeavor, lay people, *civilians, should not be in charge of space exploration, but should be kept at a distance...a great distance. Greed drives these men and to increase profits they will, and have, put safety in the back seat. Unlike NASA the tiny Dragon spaceship was built to cut costs and prove a space worthy capsule could be flown to and from the ISS without loss of life. It is far too small to prove itself capable of heavy lifting such as the shuttles had been doing for over 20 years. Greed will be the single most detrimental factor in destroying what little pride Americans have left.
